Senior Technical Instructor Job Description:

JHP Communications is seeking an Instructor passionate about the latest RF technology and applications. This dynamic instructor would focus on teaching small groups about RF topics in a fast-paced operational environment. The instructor will focus on preparing operational groups for the complex challenges faced in today’s highly technical world.

Senior Technical Instructor provides instruction in technical theory and applications of RF and communications systems. Low to moderate travel will be required. Must be a self-starter, proficient in working on a small team, and possess the patience required to respond to shifting needs. Instructors with operational experience in signals intelligence, physical and electronic surveillance, and/or communications systems are desired.

Senior Technical Instructor Required Skills:

• Bachelor of Science plus a minimum of 6 years experience in RF/communication systems
• Engineering/technical background
• Strong knowledge of radio systems and RF theory
• Experience with Signals Intelligence
• Experience developing lesson plans and curriculum for new courses and course improvements
• Experience developing and monitoring training exercises
• Must be able to travel several times per year for 1-2 weeks CONUS or OCONUS
• Has or is willing to obtain TS-SCI with Polygraph

Desired Skills:

• Operational and Instructor experience in surveillance and counter-surveillance
• Attention to detail and documentation
• Special Operations Military or SOT-A background with a minimum of 6 years of experience
• Preferred to have operated in denied areas
• Experience with photography

Required Education (including Major):

• Bachelor of Science Degree (STEM)
